Dexatrim Reviews

Rated: 2 out of 5

Dexatrim is a weight-loss supplement that has been on the market for decades, although its formula has changed from when it was originally introduced. Dexatrim supplements were recalled in 2001 due to the inclusion of phenylpropanolamine (also known as PPA), which was subsequently banned by the FDA because of the associated risk of stroke. A new version of Dexatrim was introduced following the PPA ban, but in 2002, it was again recalled because it contained ephedra. You may recall that the FDA banned all products containing ephedra due to the associated risk of heart attacks, stroke, and death.

The current formulation of Dexatrim contains no substances that are currently forbidden by the FDA.

Customers who reported on their results from taking Dexatrim gave the product a mixed review. While some users were able to experience the loss of some weight while using Dexatrim, other users had no success or were forced to discontinue using the product, often due to the caffeine it contains.

It's difficult to find clinical evidence of Dexatrim's effectiveness; in spite of the fact that this is a product that has been around for years, the manufacturer's website publishes no scientific data.
